A description of me....hummm. Well, I am very consistent and loyal. Beyond that I would say the normal things. Travel, supporter of the live arts, funny, just someone you could really fall for if you invest time in getting to know me because I don't always have the best first impression but over time you will realize this dude really got it going on!
My kids are grown and I'm divorced. I have done for others so long its time for me to do something for myself. Right now I want/need someone in my life that doesn't bring the drama but brings compassion and has nothing to hide.
We all need someone. None of us are perfect. There is only one way to find out about someone and that is to spend time getting to know them.
I do not ignore red flags. If it seems like you only want to meet to get a free meal and kill some time I'm not the one for you. If you want to open up and be real with every aspect of your life Im the one you should get to know.
The same compassion I expect is the same compassion I give. I will text but I prefer traditional conversations and face to face. Im old school but very modern.
I would like you to pick a side. You can't be a traditional woman one day then modern the next depending on what works best for you in that moment.
Im writing a lot here for a few reasons. I like to write. Im working on a book. Secondly, I want to paint a good picture of myself. I like for things to be clear. No guess work. No surprises. No drama.
Family is important. My children are very respectful and doing well. You can tell a lot about a person by their fruit. I have four A's with two of each kind.
If you have been thinking about relocating no worries. Lets talk about it. Thats the thing. Everything has to be up for discussion. I am truly a no judgement zone. I start everyone off at 100 and you work your way down. I get it. You may be the type that starts everyone off at 0 and they work their way up. No problem. Maybe Im to trusting. I still believe in the good in everyone after all these years. I guess because I have had a good life and people have been kind to me all along the way. I have learned to be a good judge of character and like I said, don't ignore red flags.
Some of the things Ive done. I scuba dive, sky dive, hike, fly planes and raced cars. Im am adventurous. I also like playing cards, board games, watching movies, reading, writing, hanging out at the sports bar and cook outs.
Alone time is a must. I need time to reflect on things. Together time is equally important. Need time to bond. Develop a oneness.
Did I mention I can cook. I don't cook as much as I use to because I have been living alone. Right now my daughter lives with me so she can save money to get her own place. She helps keep me grounded and I love having her here but she has plans to move at the end of the year.
I think I covered everything except the really controversial topics intimacy, religion and politics. I have to leave something for us to talk about. I think you will find my take on all these things very interesting. I will give you some quick basics. I’m straight, I’m a believer and I’m an independent.
