I Would Describe Myself As

I'm a retired educator and basketball coach living in South Florida. I am not Blacurious as I was married to a Black woman who passed away almost three years ago. I consider myself to be well-read, conversant and am seeking a classy, good looking woman who wants to be with a decent, compassionate, honest, caring gentleman who will not tolerate anything less than that in a partner.
My partner should be self-sufficient (as I am), and not into playing games (although basketball is acceptable!).
I have not dated since my wife's death because I did not want to falsely raise anyone's hopes when I wasn't ready. That wouldn't be fair to her.
I was a basketball coach on the high school, college and international professional levels in addition to being Dean of Students at 2 Brooklyn, N.Y. high schools during my career.
I am 77 years old, have all my wits about me but shockingly, I simply cannot do what I used to do when I was 30! Bummer!
